Redlands Stay Accommodation was excellent. Bed was comfortable and room very spacious. Food was extremely timely. When supper arrived, pasta should have been classified as soup and chocolate brownie should have been called a rock. Plan extra time ahead when ordering breakfast.

Loved the place Beautiful rooms and exterior view. Great food, friendly staff and amenities . I liked the area in which this hotel is located . It's quiet, clean and safe. I will certainly come back again. Overall, lovely experience.

Really good experience & friendly, helpful staff Well maintained facilities and friendly staff always willing to help where possible. Loved the room and the fact that I could order dinner and have it brought to the room after a long day. Breakfast & Supper was also value for money.

Redlands hotel PMB The hotel rooms are specious,Clean with comfortable beds.Location was perfect for me.Staff was ok.The food was also very nice.Little upgrade will be perfect.I will definetly come back and I can recommend the hotel to others!

A great curry When I lived in Pietermaritzburg, I frequented Redlands fairly regularly, but having moved out of town, I have not been there for two years. Yesterday, I was invited to an investment seminar which included a lunch. I ordered lamb curry and it was excellent. So many restaurants serve curry swamped with curry powder, but this dish was full of flavour and spices. Others at the seminar also seemed to be very happy with their meals.When I next want to have a curry, and it will be soon I hope, it will be at Redlands hotel. TonyC Howick

Great place We had a great time at your hotel with friendly staff and comfortable, spacious rooms. The grounds where the hotels is built are beautiful and serene. Definately my go to place when in Pietermaritzburg.

excellent stop over Excellent accomodation. Just 2 things need attention . The shower floor was very steep and one could easily slip. A hand rail might be a good idea. There are no hand rails on the steps which makes it difficult for older people. Other than that I will definitely use again . Thanks for a wonderful stay

Comfortable rooms and friendly staff I stayed here on two occasions while working in the area. The hotel is beautifully furnished with antique furniture and the rooms are large and comfortable. The grounds are well kept and quite large. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel has a lovely atmosphere.

Amazing hidden gem of a property I recently had the pleasure of hosting a conference at this hotel and seriously I cannot say more nicer things about this property and the staff. This event took a lot of work to set up and Paul and his management team pre event where amazing and so accommodating to us. We are a difficult client. Nothing was too much trouble. From the moment I set foot on property, that carried on. Paul and his front office staff and then every single other member of staff were amazing. They managed everything superbly and there wasn't a single thing wrong. The hotel itself was perfect. Great facilities but set in superb grounds so it was great for the delegates every day to be in such lush greenery. The food was exceptional. Tasty and huge portion sizes. I can't say more positive things about this hotel. The whole set up works so well. Well done to you all.
